I wanted to create a thank-you card that reflects my personality and background.
Pura Vida is a phrase deeply connects to my Costa Rican culture, meaning “pure life”, a way of living with gratitude and joy
On the inside, I included the phrase:
“Thanks for diving into my portfolio” alongside a hand-drawn fish illustration to keep the ocean theme. The back of the card explains the meaning of Pura Vida, giving the recipient insight into its cultural significance.

Initially I sketched different ideas to ensure it felt dynamic and engaging. Then I chose one and proceeded to refine the illustration digitally, adding a balanced color palette and clean lines.
